Job Title: Applications Systems Analyst
Duration: 3 Years + Extendable
o Support major business functions and provide detailed and in depth specialized IT technical expertise to maintain Subsurface applications support environment (e.g Wellview, Compass, Petrotrek) and to check that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures.
o Works in coordination with the Subsurface departments to establish and maintain effective data management systems and application support for all subsurface related data types. This includes analysis and support of:
o Subsurface software systems utilizes "state of the art" data management and Drilling applications including but not limited to Wellview,Compass and Petrotrek.
o Data Management systems - work flows and processes to populate and maintain high integrity data repositories.
o 8 years' of IT experience (ideally within Oil & Gas industry)
o Competent knowledge in core skill applications, tools, and techniques o Conversant with relevant IT national and international standards
o Demonstrated experience in project management
o Demonstrated experience in IT support environment
o Excellent written and spoken English
o Strong project management skills o Strong interpersonal skills
o Strong analytical problem-solving skills
o Specialized technical expertise and broader IT knowledge o Compliance to risk, security and continuity management principles.
