Our client, international engineering and consulting firm, are looking for a Engineering Manager to join them on a full-time staff basis at their HQ in UAE.
Leads and participates in discussions at project inception as a member of the project management.
Reviews the design requirements of the project and organize, plan and lead the engineering design.
Ensures the engineering design personnel are properly briefed in the scope and their tasks.
Works with and provides direction to internal resources or external consultants through engineering and construction. Coordinates and interface between the different groups/disciplines involved.
Coordinate the preparation, quality control, internal approval, issue and (where applicable) client approval of engineering documents and drawings.
Coordinates the preparation of the overall engineering deliverable list. Ensures planned engineering progress with respect to the engineering deliverables for the project, engineering planning & scheduling, preparation of progress reports, manpower & resource forecasts, time schedules of engineers, utilization of resources effectively & efficiently.
Ensures that correct input data, codes and standards are used and adhered to. Ensures appropriate level of engineering is complete for each phase of the project and meet company/ industry standards. Identifies and lodge scope/design change for approval. Ensures all engineering deliverables are prepared and issued in a timely manner. Manages the interface between client design team and engineering design team. Awareness of scope of work, time schedule and ensure the completion of the scope within the budgeted hours. Ensures fulfilment of the scope of work.
Academic Education to BS or equivalent level minimum in Engineering from accredited U
