About the opportunity


Our Talent Acquisition team is at the heart of attracting the right people to BP and managing experienced hire - whether those candidates are new to BP or taking up a further opportunity within the organization.


You'll be expected to bring together BP Talent Acquisition discipline experts from around the world, and play a lead role in global initiatives to ensure our talent strategy is realized - especially in terms of quality, D&I and critical capabilities. We'll look to you to share best practice and deliver experienced hire demand across a particular area, working with our expert team on sourcing and attraction strategies. Managing third party vendors involved in the hiring process will also be your responsibility.


About you (Requirements)


Degree-qualified or equivalent, you'll bring us in-depth knowledge of Talent Acquisition gained in a large multinational. You'll also have extensive experience in candidate sourcing, and in screening, assessing and managing candidates throughout the recruitment process.


Numerate and analytical, you'll have a commercial mindset and be able to balance the need of the function with local needs - you're able to see the wider picture as well as different perspectives. Beyond this you'll be self-aware, focused on solutions and able to build trust among stakeholders.

If you are selected for a position in the United States, your employment will be contingent upon submission to and successful completion of a post-offer/pre-placement drug test(and alcohol screening/medical examination if required by the role) as well as pre-placement verification of the information and qualifications provided during the selection process. The drug screen requires a hair test for which BP must be able to obtain a sufficient hair sample for analysis (~4 cm/1 ½" scalp, or > 2 cm/¾" body - arms & armpits/legs/chest)
