Context: • Job position at Total EP Angola within Geology Department from Block 32, including the ultra-deep offshore Kaombo development with two FPSOs (capacity 115kbhpj each), producing from 9 turbidite reservoirs, on 6 fields (59 wells initially planned, with drilling operations from 2015 to 2021). Requirements: • Minimum required education: Bsc in Geology. • Professional experience: 5 to 10 years in general, Reservoir modeling experience is a must (at least 3 years). • Place of living: Angola. Additional skills valued: • Sedimentary experience on turbidites, mastery of interpretation and modeling softwares e.g. Petrel, SKUA, Geolog 7, Sismage CIG. Job Title (non-organic) • Support Reservoir Geologist Job description • The successful candidate will have the following main activities, in technical support to the Geosciences teams from Block 32, based in Angola: o Contribute to geological interpretations and 2G&R synthesis while integrating those synthesis results to propose consistent and fit-for-purpose reservoir modeling strategies. o Build and/or update static reservoir models by proposing and implementing adapted methodologies, preferentially with the Internal Interpretation and Geomodeling platform from Total. o Perform the evaluation and quantification of the volumes in place and associated uncertainties from static reservoir models, while ensuring its required quality and dynamic consistency i.e. iterations with Asset reservoir engineers. o Communicate the results of his/her work through oral presentation and written reports. o Provide support on performing well reporting. Propose and implement well results synthetic documentation per well and per fields. o Provide support on managing geological databases, by liaising with the local data management team and by respecting and applying the internal patrimonial data protection rules. o Promote the proper use of reservoir modeling tools within the Asset team, preferentially the Internal Interpretation and Geomodeling platform from Total. o Implement Total HSE rules and procedures related to his/her area of intervention.
