Role Summary:

The Downstream Chemical product line provides services and technology for the worldwide pipeline, hydrocarbon processing, and petrochemical industries to help increase our customer's production, improve plant safety, and equipment reliability. Looking for a strong, energetic manager that will lead the Downstream Chemicals fuels additives emergency response business operations. Our ideal Candidate will lead the Operations team for North America; execute safe and reliable operations while creating a culture of speed and teamwork.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver results, creating value for our brand, our system, our customers, and key stakeholders
  • Inspire team to deliver on our chemicals vision and demonstrate passion for the business
  • Drive key partnerships with Terminal Managers and key/critical treatment locations
  • Manage team of operations coordinators and technicians.
  • Talent management and development of operations team. Attract and develop top talent to ensure operational objectives are achieved
  • Deliver timely and accurate HSSE and DOT Compliance reporting requirements
  • Maintain flawless execution by keeping Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices up to date and distributed
  • Interfaces across the internal organization, specifically with refinery districts
  • Daily Coordination of P2R Treatments
  • Vehicle Maintenance & adherence to reporting requirements
  • Equipment Maintenance and Management (pumps, hoses, generators, etc.)
  • Training of Technicians
  • Handles special projects as assigned


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years experience in chemical operations, downstream or additives market
  • Thorough understanding of finished fuels products/systems, customer requirements and market conditions
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Demonstrates professional business acumen
  • Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP and PowerPoint) & CRM

Desired Characteristics:

  • BS Degree in Engineering or Sciences field
  • 10+ years experience in chemical operations, downstream or additives market
