Our client is a Global Oil & Gas Operating company based in South of the UK . They are recruiting for a Machinery Engineer - Rotating Equipment with Petrochemical, refinery or Oil & Gas experience.

The role
Our Machinery Engineers are responsible for providing specialist rotating equipment support to all business groups.

To be eligible for this role, you must:

- Hold an engineering degree in mechanical engineering, or an equivalent subject.
- Be; be working towards being; or be prepared to work towards being, a Chartered Engineer, as defined by the Engineering Council or equivalent.
- The application of a good level of theoretical knowledge in an operating environment, covering the major machinery types e.g. centrifugal, axial and reciprocating compressors, pumps and gas / steam turbines
- Technical asset management and risk assessment, equipment strategy development and root cause failure analysis
- Commissioning and troubleshooting machinery systems
- Rotor dynamics and machinery performance calculations
