Mangan is seeking a qualified mid-level Control Systems Engineer, to be located in Midland, TX, responsible for PLC/HMI programming, system documentation, factory acceptance testing, and field start-up and commissioning activities.



•B.S. Engineering plus 5 years' applicable work experience, or combination of education and relevant work experience

•Strong proficiency programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred) and HMIs (GE iFIX, Rockwell PanelView/RSView, Wonderware InTouch preferred)

•Solid grasp of P&ID's, control panel wiring drawings, and field wiring diagrams



•PLC/HMI programming

•Participates in the development of logic diagrams, cause & effect matrices, and functional narratives

•Attends field verification walkdowns

•Executes factory acceptance testing

•Executes start-up and commissioning

•Facilitates operations/maintenance training

•Keeps the Project Manager informed of changes to scope and deviations from contract

•Travel 25-50% depending on project/client requirements
