This position is based out of Jeddah and is primarily a plant based position providing support to build HSE awareness at the field level by working closely with power and water plants operations. This position will report directly to the plant HSE Engineer or Corporate HSE Manager.

Required Skills

  • Coordinating and actively participating in plant activities while maintaining focus to overall company objectives and consistency through HSE management
  • Conducting tool box talks and on-field HSE meetings with staff and contractors.
  • Leading on-site HSE training programs designed to motivate field personnel
  • Collection of Incident forms from Near Miss Reporting Station installed in various plant location - coordinating and conducting investigations then presenting formal reports with management recommendations.
  • Coordinating and participating in the continuous auditing of HSE management systems.
  • Assisting the Administration and Occupational Health Team and providing support in all aspects of post-accident / injury treatment process
  • Identify non-compliant, incomplete or substandard procedures, for activities involving employees and/or contractors in the plant
  • Other HSE duties as assigned by the plant HSE Engineer

Preferred

  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety HSE Trained and Certified Auditor from a recognized institut

Desired certification / Job specific skill / Training

  • Should be familiar with applicable K.S.A Health, Safety and Environmental legislations
  • Should be holding a valid driving license of K.S.A or Willing to get one within 3 months after the completion of his probationary period.
