Role Summary:

The Inspection Technologies CFO will drive all key financial metrics across the Inspection Technologies (IT) business and will be a critical business partner to the business GM and his staff of global product leaders. The IT business has revenues of $450MM globally.

This role provides leadership to the finance team to drive profitability, process improvements, simplification and compliance across the business. This role is expected to be a change agent and needs to attract & develop the pipeline of finance talent at both at senior and junior levels. Ultimately, the IT CFO provides strategic finance management for the product company with decision-making authority for company-wide financial decisions.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for all financial reporting, analytics and consolidation of the IT global results
  • Partner with the general manager as a chief operating in all day to day activities
  • Lead all financial planning cycles and driving coordination across all global sites
  • Be responsible for implementation of all process and procedure to drive Baker Hughes Company compliant financial reporting & controllership
  • Lead a global Finance team, providing continuous feedback and coaching for success


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a business related subject from an accredited college or university
  • Significant finance experience in a global matrix environment
  • Relevant experience in a finance leadership role

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong knowledge of capital markets products and capabilities
  • Strong industry knowledge and contacts coupled with knowledge of controllership, accounting, and tax / legal issues
  • Prior experience independently structuring, restructuring, and executing large complex transactions is preferred
  • Controllership assessment and planning experience is preferred
  • Prior experience managing a multi-functional Finance organization is preferred
  • Financial Management Program / Aspire graduate is preferred (Internal candidates only)
  • Corporate Audit Staff experience is preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant is preferred
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute concrete action plans
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
