We currently have a vacancy for a temporary Accounts Supervisor based at Nautilus House to cover a maternity period and support the SSC Team Leader. The Accounts Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of three staff members covering 8020 UK operations and 8020 Houston, overseeing and supporting 80:20 transactional processes including purchase ledger, supplier payments, sales ledger, credit control, intercompany. They are required to investigate supplier and customer queries and to effectively resolve these through appropriate delegation to Accounts Assistants.
Duties will include organising workloads to ensure adequate cover is in place at all times and deadlines are met. This will also be a hands on position as it is a small team, therefore transactional experience of ledgers, bank reconciliations and credit control would be required.
Candidates should have excellent leadership, communication and organisation skills and be able to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines. This position would suit someone who has worked in a Finance role with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sage and ERP systems.
