Role Summary:

This is a shop floor position as a support function to the Plant. Main duties involve Incoming Goods, Material picking, issue and Shipping. This job function interfaces with most of the Departments on site including Logistics, Quality Control, Commercial Teams, Manufacturing and Sourcing. The role includes office work, documentation control, physical handling of parts and soft skills e.g. prioritising workload, high Customer focus. Focus is on Offshore / PCS product lines

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Safely loading and Unloading of parts
  • Ensuring documentation control procedures are complied with
  • Safely locating of parts physically and ensuring parts are correctly located on Oracle system
  • Timely response to queries and material issue request
  • Accurate and safe shipment of parts to Customer
  • Liaising with other Departments clearly and timely to resolve actions - verbally and written
  • Take part in stock checking and annual Physical Inventory
  • Ensure high standard of Housekeeping
  • Adherence to EHS and Quality Policies and Procedures
  • Able to adjust quickly to changing priorities
  • Take active part in EHS/Department initiatives e.g. Safety
  • Risk Assessment reviews, Behavioral Sampling, Simplification of Processes
  • Focus on Offshore / PCS product lines

  • 3t FLT and Reach Truck
  • Certification Slinging and Lifting
  • Certificate Manual Handling
  • Knowledge Safe shipping
  • Knowledge Packaging and Handling Knowledge
  • Understanding of trace and documentation control
  • Team work is essential
  • Flexibility is required, although there are core hours in place overtime and call outs are commonplace
  • PC skills are required - E-mail, Internet navigation, Excel, Oracle, Word
  • Knowledge of Oil & Gas is preferred
