Our client, a major district cooling company, are looking for a Reliability Engineer to join them on a full time residential basis in Qatar. Candidates will have previous experience working in plant environments where they have been responsible for planning and managing the maintenance activities (preventive and corrective maintenance) related to plants in order to ensure maintenance is conducted in an effective and efficient manner and minimize the risk of downtime.
Kintec are interested in speaking to candidates from the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical sectors. Successful candidates will have a vast knowledge of Maintenance as well as a background of hands on experience within the maintenance department. Knowledge of Process Safety and Six Sigma would also be a benefit.
" Defining the Maintenance Strategies for all Assets, generating the Asset management plan including value-added preventative maintenance tasks,
" Defining / writing of related procedures (Engineering and Operations / Services) to ensure that strategies are codified and fit for use by all relevant persons.
" Ensuring that the organizations Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is suitably defined, detailed and fit for use by all relevant persons (maintenance and inspections).
" Develop and manage the implementation of reliability and integrity improvement programs and liaise with Operations and Maintenance - Planning & Scheduling teams to plan and coordinate equipment shutdowns/overhauls and turnaround activities.
" Inputting and developing processes related to work management, and develop training and coaching relevant persons to enable delivery of new or modified processes, including the coaching and mentoring of personnel in the new processes.
