Job Description

Coil Tubing Trainees - Offshore

Offshore - Gulf of Mexico

Note:

Only candidates with the legal right to work in the US without sponsorship will be considered for this role.

Compensation: $15-$22 DOE

Location: Maurice, LA. Based Offshore.

Schedule: 15x6 rotation. Must be able to work days, nights, weekend, and holidays

Requirements: Must have previous Offshore and Coil Tubing Operator experience. Offshore certifications required.

Responsibilities:

  • Able and willing to perform manual labor as jobs dictated
  • Comfortable performing work at heights
  • Able to pass a fitness test if requested
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol test if requested
  • Physically able to enter confined spaces (coil reel), injector in derrick while raised, etc.
  • Assist crew in preparation for next well package
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as directed
  • Assist in cleaning of equipment (Pressure washer, rags, etc.)
  • Load/unload chemicals and other required items as jobs dictate
  • Assist in driving crew vehicle with/without trailer during mobilization to and from location
  • Assist in rigging in and out on location
  • Visual assistance during equipment spotting
  • Placing downrigger pads
  • Making up BOPs, lubricators, BHAs as directed
  • Assist in rigging in high pressure pumping iron
  • Clean and prep tools and BHAs as needed
  • Assist in making mechanical repairs and modifications as directed by supervisor
  • Maintain good housekeeping in tool room, tractor cabs, crew vehicles, etc.
  • Assist pump operator with day to day duties such as packing chemicals, following mixing directions under direct supervision, low pressure valve operations, pump rebuilding, etc.
  • Maintaining fuel and lubricant levels in all equipment as required
  • Assist in obtaining general data as required for maintaining certifications programs with well control equipment, high pressure iron, fire extinguishers, etc.
  • Maintain clean shaven, professional appearance
  • Understand and follow all corporate policies and procedures
  • Operate Fluid Pump
