Essential Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Manage all aspects of medium to large scale projects concurrently from initiation through closure.
  • Drive technology discussion and strategy in line with business needs and company reference architecture.
  • Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources
  • Responsible for managing work deliverables, risk, and dependencies of the solutions across a standard systems development life cycle (SDLC), using appropriate approaches including agile and water-fall strategies.
  • Facilitate convergence of functional and technical knowledge and build project teams
  • Work with globally located technical team often comprising of members of separate organizations to coordinate day-to-day execution as per outlined pla
  • Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed.
  • Drive simplification and improvement as necessary
  • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and inter-dependencies.
  • Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required
  • Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project
  • Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting
  • Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations
  • Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected
  • Has financial responsibility and accountability for programs / projects

Role Summary/Purpose

  • Responsible for wing-to-wing execution of technical projects SAP ECC technology related to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and external customers.
  • Partners with functional product owner to define features backlog and requirements, works with technical team internal and external to the initiative to ensure outcomes delivery on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality.
  • Works with a single team, across teams, BHGE Oil Field Services product company, or entire BHGE product companies to implement digital technology strategies.
  • May manage employees or contractors in multiple distinct areas of work.
  • Makes sure project management practices are followed and improved as needed.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering or 10 years of IT technical experience
    Minimum 10 years of IT professional experience
    Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Software Development Project Management
  • Minimum 3 years of ERP technologies
  • Willing to travel: 20%

  • Experience and understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle
  • Experience of SAP ECC application
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Power Point, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience using MS Project or equivalent as a project management tool
  • Experience with Visio flowcharting and Access a plus
  • Proficiency in English
