Job Summary:

Entry level technician position in a fast-paced industrial hygiene laboratory. The technician is responsible for the set-up of client samples for analysis, the preparation of samples using organic solvents or concentrated acids, and general laboratory housekeeping.

Organization and time management are very important qualities for this role.

Must be comfortable working with chemicals.

Ideal candidate would have be familiar or have some experience with basic laboratory equipment (pipettes, balances fume hoods) is necessary. Attention to detail and patience with repetitive work is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel ) is expected.

Requirements: Must have high school diploma and completion of at least one college chemistry course with laboratory time. An Associates or Bachelor's degree with a science focus is preferred.

This is a full time position. Weekend and evening overtime may be required to meet client demands.
