Senior Project Manager - Cheshire - Onshore Wind Farm Developer

Eden Scott's client, a leading UK based Developer of offshore wind is currently shortlisting for a Senior Project Manager to join the existing team and deliver onshore wind farms across the UK. Our client has seven operational windfarms and a number of projects in the planning and development as well as construction phases. To date they have a portfolio of over 1GW of clean energy.

The successful candidate will currently be working in a Project Management capacity working on onshore wind farm projects. Responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership of a project team to identify, assess, design and develop proposals for onshore wind farm sites
  • Development of new sites through scoping and planning to then handover to the civil and technical teams
  • Oversee the development of sites currently in planning
  • Hold meetings with all stakeholders including landowners, planning authorities, communities and councillors as required
  • Conduct land searches and negotiation with relevant parties
  • Contribute to turbine layout designs using packages such as ReSoft Windfarm and AutoCAD.


  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Project Management Capacity within the Onshore Wind Energy Sector
  • Proven track record in identifying, designing, developing and delivering onshore wind farms in the UK
  • Experienced using software such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD and WindFarm
  • Happy to work in the Cheshire area or able to relocate
  • Drivers Licence
  • Willingness to travel as required to visit sites in the UK
