Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Production Operations Lead in Worland, WY with extensive industry experience. This is a contract role with the possibility of becoming permanent.

***Candidates must be local to the area or within a commutable distance.***

Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee all production activities including, but not limited to field personnel, contractors/vendors, and the daily activity associated with the production of wells
  • Prepare and process AFEs
  • Monitor Production
  • Facilities design
  • Employee management
  • Oversee, coordinate and manage field projects
  • Being a safety leader
  • Directing all assigned filed activities to ensure that work is performed in compliance with Company's safety policies/procedures as well as all applicable environmental and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinating with Engineering, Operations and Planning & Scheduling to achieve established objectives and to minimize interruptions to operations
  • Reviewing invoices and verifying billing, expenditures and cost-control on assigned projects

Skills / Qualifications

  • 5+ years of field operations experience in the oil/gas industry
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Prepare and process AFEs
  • Coordinate and manage field projects
  • Production monitoring
  • Design of facilities
  • Employee management
  • Field project management
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability/willingness to travel
  • General knowledge of onshore oil & gas regulations and governmental rules
  • Ability to perform under pressure and time constraints
  • Ability to easily adapt to changes in work environment, manage competing demands and deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
  • Ability to remain calm in potentially adversarial or stressful situations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality on sensitive subject matter
  • Ability to set priorities and follow through on projects with limited supervision
  • Accurately completes tasks
