Marathon Oil Company is currently seeking an experienced Sr Executive Administrative Assistant to join the management team in the Eagle Ford Asset. This person will act as a point of coordination and will work closely with leadership team members across all disciplines, the office building lessor, Marathon corporate building resources, local services, administrative assistants in field offices, and others as needed. The position will also be responsible for executive administrative duties for the Regional Vice President including calendar/meeting coordination, weekly report generation for working interest owners and internal customers, asset-wide communications, and travel accommodation. The position reports to the Regional Vice President.



Develop, organize and execute team activities that foster collaboration across the asset

Act as a visible and highly engaged representative of the RVP and the Eagle Ford asset

Coordinates, assembles, and distributes the weekly asset team progress report

Acts as a point of coordination with administrative assistants across the Eagle Ford offices


Organize and coordinate the RVP's schedule and internal and external interactions

Coordinate employee and augment staff onboarding

Own, manage, and work with managers on the office assignments. Act as the point of coordination for all office moves.

Responsible for records retention duties and well documentation filing

Point of contact for any building issues or maintenance

Review and approves all invoices related to office activities - cleaning/vending/mailing/shipping, etc.


Setup external events as required, including venue, catering, and support services

Provides presentation review for form, format, and consistency

Ensures meeting spaces are professional, organized, and always prepared for use. Works with IT to ensure meeting space equipment is fully functional.

Responsible for the catering and vending spend/coordination

Cultivate a High Performance Team

Coordinate cross training with all asset administrative assistants to allow for backup support when needed

Consistently Interact with vendors and employees to promote organizational awareness and team cooperation

Minimum Requirements:

Education:High School Diploma

Experience: 10+ years' experience in office coordination or executive assistant, oil and gas experience preferred

Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products with emphasis on Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio


Skills: Excellent oral/written communication, teamwork, planning, learning ability, are required.
