The Quality Inspector will primarily have responsibility for inspections and tests pertaining to electrical/ I&C systems.
Study and understand the Project Quality Plan, project scope and quality requirements and other quality documents that pertain to assigned scope of work.
Inspect subordinates' work for compliance with the contract plans and specifications, point out deficiencies and explain and take any corrective action needed.
Perform inspections and tests as required by the assigned responsibilities and as directed by supervisor.
Prepare inspection/test reports and maintain the quality files related to area of responsibility.
Review/approve (initial/date) all 3rd party test results for compliance with project requirements as required.
Minimum of 3 years Electrical Inspection in a heavy industrial setting.
Must have working knowledge of the specific trade of discipline they are assigned to with associated special processes, inspection, and testing techniques. Must have working knowledge of construction industry codes relating to their area of expertise.
Fast-paced Field environment; must be able to interact professionally with all levels of management while simultaneously manage a diversified workload and challenging situations efficiently and effectively; regularly sit, stand, walk and talk and listen; occasionally lift and move up objects up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to perform work at project locations across the US for extended periods.
