My client in West London is looking for a Master Data Analyst. Rates negotiable, contract ongoing.

Job Purpose:

Works as part of the Master Data Support team responsible for the maintaining/administering master data in Finance Systems.

Works with all Group finance managers with regards to master data quality assurance and establishing best practice and optimal process and business solutions.

Responsibilities / Key Objectives:

Ensure that relevant master data updates are made to all Finance and related systems as appropriate in a timely manner so as to meet business reporting and processing deadlines;
Apply the validations required to each different object request;
Manage the workflows for master data requests, ensuring that all requests are completed quickly and accurately;
Ensure all master data processes are accurately documented;
Continuously review and improve master data processes and procedures to meet service level and control expectations;
Appropriately support ongoing finance and finance related systems optimisation and ongoing development;
Maintain accurate tracking mechanisms for processing activity

Person Specification


Degree and significant relevant experience.
A professional accounting body qualification desirable but not essential.


Significant experience in execution of processes and controls for master data management in SAP.
Understanding of financial accounting and the requirements of financial systems.
Experience of shared service operations desirable not essential.

System Skills:

Experience with SAP financial and SCM master data
Strong Excel skills
Winshuttle Transaction script execution
