Our client is a Major EPC company based in Aberdeen recruiting for an Asset Mechanical Support Engineer on a staff basis.

The Asset Support Mechanical Engineer will be accountable for providing the day to day engineering support and to define and drive short, medium and long term strategies for offshore mechanical systems. Full budget accountabilities for all aspects of the associated Mechanical systems. Ensuring that the installation integrity, reliability, availability and maintainability of the relevant mechanical and rotating equipment is optimised, so that the safety of the asset is maintained and the production targets can be achieved.

Integrating maintenance change and control through condition monitoring Implementing and analysing using best practice maintenance strategy and techniques Providing first line onshore support for the planning, execution and reprioritising of the maintenance strategy, implementation of planned and corrective maintenance and ensure compliance with the Asset Written Scheme of Examination Managing the relevant onshore vendor activities, materials, spares, performance and commercial support as necessary

The successful candidate will be educated to BSc or equivalent standard with relevant on and offshore experience in mechanical and rotating equipment maintenance and control system interfaces. We are looking for someone who can work to deadlines, communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
