Residential role in the UAE

MAJOR FUNCTIONS
" Ensure cementing services are delivered to the required standard and that cementing programmes are developed in order to achieve optimum cementing results. Recommend new cementing technologies that will improve Company operations. Identify, assess and control potential and actual cementing hazards for each job.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
" Ensure engineering best practices for the planning and design of cementing programs
" Develop and implement Basis of Design in conjunction with the Senior Drilling Engineers planning the upcoming operations.
" Update Cementing standards as required
" Ensure contractor delivery to international standards by leading cement audits:
" Provide direct technical operations support to Ops team to achieve the objectives of the wells safely and cost efficiently
" Prepare detailed cementing program.
" Recommend new cementing technologies that will improve Company operations
" Identify, assess and control potential and actual cementing hazards for each job.
" Action oriented, readily available to travel to the field on short notice in support of cementing operations.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
" Degree in Engineering, at least 15 years experience in relevant Cement Engineering positions required
" Minimum 15 years in Cement Engineering related areas
