Role Summary:

The Regional Engineering Manager Offshore Systems & Services will be responsible for the Offshore Systems Organization at regional level. This entails, driving strong project and services engineering execution in offshore projects and services that positions our product portfolio of wellhead and floating production systems ahead of the competition in both performance and competitiveness to achieve clients and business goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Regional Engineering Manager Offshore Systems and Services essential responsibilities are:
  • To be key in ensuring continuous interactions across the offshore engineering team locations, and strong collaboration across the interfacing engineering and business execution teams.
  • Demonstrating accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives
  • Contributing to the overall strategy for the business and SPS, Services and Offshore Engineering organization and manages complex issues within functional areas of expertise
  • Integrating and developing processes that meet business needs across the organization
  • Ensuring project capabilities at the remote teams, up to the management of complete work packages, to grow overall team project capacity
  • Providing leadership and technical direction for opportunities and ongoing programs/projects
  • Effectively communicating with the customers (Product Management, P/L leaders, Project teams, Commercial and sales) to assure quality and technically compliant products are delivered.
  • Managing overall budget control (with finance) and KPIs with Engineering operations for the engineering scope in programs and projects within region
  • To be a change agent, exploring new ways of working to ensure a cost optimal execution. This can include use of new digital tools, increased use of standardized/structured solutions, outsourcing of work packages and more efficient project organization.
  • Accountable for engineering execution performance in delivery of project and services engineering scope within budget and quality requirements
  • Responsible for regional offshore engineering organisation capability and performance
  • Responsible for ensuring seamless collaboration and effectiveness with product management and other multi discipline teams
  • Responsible for supporting and ensuring ITO strategy and proposal is optimised for cost, risk and execution strategy to maximise opportunity for success
  • Accountable for ensuring Offshore RTS budgets are not exceeded
  • A degree of travel, both locally and internationally will be required.


The position will require extensive experience from the Oil&Gas industry combined with experience from other relevant industries. A significant portion must have been in program/project execution and technology development. The position requires:

  • High technical skills with good understanding of subsea products, services and projects with specific experience of wellhead systems
