Role Summary:

The Americas Turbomachinery and Process Solutions (TPS) Lead Proposal Specialist reports into the Latin America Turbomachinery and Process Solutions (TPS) Services Leader of Commercial Operations and works closely with the TPS Services sales team to support customer needs with turbomachinery services commercial expertise and responsiveness, while driving overall TPS P&L growth and profitability

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you will engage with a diverse and multifunctional team comprising Application Engineering, Project Management, Sourcing, Finance, Contract and Legal to implement the transactional strategy for parts, services, and repairs. As a critical player of the Inquiry to Order (ITO) team the Lead Proposals Specialist will prepare the commercial solution proposals for our customers parts, services, and repairs, negotiating terms and conditions to achieve the appropriate risk and reward for BHGE. He will be primarily serving the Spanish Speaking Latin America customers. He will be assessing and representing commercial risks to management and drive bid-to-win reviews.

In this role you will:
  • Develop commercial proposals for Parts, Repairs and Field Services
  • Manage deal strategies in synergy with pricing and cost teams
  • Strive to identify value added items to increase profitability
  • Ensure clear representation of the Risks of commercial proposals, seeking functional approvals
