Role Overview

This role is responsible for directly managing customer Projects/Services, supporting customer needs and activities within the region including managing any regional CSA contracts and developing entitlement models for the evolving regional fleet. The Customer Operation Manager will work closely with customers and internal parties to ensure the on-time delivery of projects/services while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction along with external/internal reporting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Act as single point of contact to BHGE customers for Drilling capital & services orders in India
  • Planning, scheduling, coordinating & monitoring of capital & services orders
  • Cross functionally lead teams to meet the expectations of the customer and the BHGE Drilling organization by managing projects/services and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business to facilitate the execution of equipment/services & meeting customer needs including warrantee & concession metrics.
  • Perform commercial OTR duties, including raising of VORs, dispute negotiations, commercial invoice generation, etc...
  • Monitor/Analyze costs throughout project to ensure projects outperform booked margins
  • Provide weekly projects status updates to customers for all projects/services.
  • Responsible for on-time performance in accordance with contracts and POs
  • Responsible for project/contract risk issues including receivables, claims, contract changes, margin enhancement, and effective project management
  • Represent the most direct access to all appropriate internal functions to support the service offering
  • Work with internal teams to integrate and manage projects from Engage Drilling
  • Support Sales during Rate contract/MSA discussions for After-market.
  • Support receivable collection efforts to minimize past due
  • Support costing for projects/sales orders at ITO stage
  • Proactively work with customer to understand Services/Spares forecast based on the install base & current ongoing operations for creating demand and inventory
  • Responsible for building strong long-term relationships with customers within the region

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record supporting customers in an oil & gas
  • Strong technical knowledge of drilling products and services
  • Willingness and ability to travel within region

Desired Characteristics
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred
  • MBA or PMP Certification
  • 4 years or more experience in Field Services, Engineering or operation role
  • 6 years or more experience working in project management or customer facing role
  • Strong understanding of the India region and customer base
  • Strong customer service mindset
