Role Summary:

As the Staff Program Manager, you will report to the learning metrics and resolution manager. You will work closely with Cyber Fusion Center functions (CFC) to drive out remediation from Incident Response cases, assist with CFC metric deployment and reporting to executive leadership. While they do not conduct technical remediation, the Staff Program Manager can close out cases once the cybersecurity policy has been enforced and documented.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role Staff Technical Program Manager, you will:
  • Provide input into cybersecurity policy and repeat policy violator repercussions
  • Provide briefings at various levels of management regarding ongoing security incidents
  • Ensure that 24/7 On-Call capability is maintained
  • Actively manages and drives third party remediation efforts
  • Provides recommendations to third party clients regarding cybersecurity remediation activity
  • As required, serves as cybersecurity advisor to corporate or business components that fall outside of the CFC during their incident
  • Identify and develop workflow automation to lower response time and eliminate lengthy procedures of the CFC during their incident
  • Provide metrics to business and executive leadership
  • Drive simplification and improvement as necessary
  • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies
  • Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required
  • Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project
  • Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting
  • Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations
  • Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from accredited college or university
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center environment

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Travel less than 20% of the time, as required

Desired Characteristics:
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage remediation efforts and constructively influence peers and leadership
  • Previous hands on experience in the information and cyber security field, specific to enterprise incident response and incident remediation practices
  • Strong comprehension of emerging cyber threats
  • Background in at least 1 of the following domains; security products and technologies; security engineering, networking protocols and data center
  • Proven experience in security analysis and investigations
  • Experience working in a 24/7 SOC environment
