The Production Planner will be responsible for material and production planning and a key
contributor to meet deliveries and achieve business goals. The role includes coordination of
material logistic from internal and external suppliers across the organization.
Further the role will work with the Plant Manager to develop and implement the production planning tools and routines and be responsible for continuous improvement of best practice in production and materials planning.
Manage material planning processes and prepare and update production schedules and
•Translation of orderbook into purchase orders and work orders.
•Coordinate and expedite material flow to ensure availability for production.
•Coordinate material logistics to internal/external suppliers for subcontract activities.
•Ensuring that documentation is completed and correct according to applicable specifications and
•Support placing purchase orders of material
•Continuously aiming to process improvements and productivity increase to drive cost.
•Create and analyze forecast of requirements, providing visibility of future requirements to stake
•Ensure compliance to planning and buying procedures.
•To maintain integrity of the MRP system in order to meet customer delivery dates and market
expected lead times.
•Update customer care and sales functions with delivery dates for open orders • Create and

Responsible for development and implementation of best practice within materials and production planning.
Support Projects managers with products delivery dates both during production planning and execution
Develop production lead times for the product lines and propose improvements if possible.
Optimize the use of the selected ERP system and participate in the development of manufacturing execution system (MES)
•Experience and ability to plan and execute activities in a high pace and often-changing
•High level of oral and written communication skills in English and Norwegian.
•Experience from subsea business.
•Experience from material and production planning and use of ERP systems.
•Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field preferred, or any
equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, abilities
•Competent in office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
•Experience with SAP Business One
•Strong communication skills
•Experience from working in a production environment.

•Strong focus on quality
•Ability to work well in team under high pressure and tight deadlines
