Help protect offshore workers, take on new challenges and make the most of your experience with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

At HSE, we work with one goal in mind - to help keep Britain's workforce safe. We are the independent regulator for work-related health and safety in Great Britain, and our work touches virtually every sector of UK industry. Combining experts from every field, we strive to keep people and their working environments as healthy and secure as possible.

As an Offshore Electrical & Control Systems Engineer, you'll use your expertise to deal with major accident hazards in offshore installations, protecting workers across the oil and gas sector. You'll carry out inspections, forensic analysis of incidents, create specialist reports and guide a huge variety of stakeholders towards improved policy and guidance. This is a challenging and demanding role that will not only broaden your knowledge and expertise but will provide you with highly sought-after experience as well.

You'll bring a wealth of engineering experience to the role, including safety-related control systems, risk assessment and a sound knowledge of codes and standards. Strong stakeholder management skills and analytical skills are also essential. You should also be able to work offshore for several days at a time. A degree or equivalent qualification in electrical, electronic, or control engineering is essential, along with membership of a relevant professional institution and a full UK driving license.

With us, you can put your skills to the test while taking advantage of exceptional training and opportunities. Find out more about the role or apply today.
