The Sr. Procurement / Sourcing Manager (SPM) insures that the best possible combination of money spent and value received exists for assigned categories of goods and services. You will have regional responsibility for driving competitive category supply strategies to achieve lowest total cost, reduced working capital via negotiation, planning and execution. The SPM will report to the Group's Director of Financial, Planning and Analysis and together, they will define high-impact, long-term supply chain architecture strategies at the regional and operational level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The SPM will manage assigned global categories' suppliers and spend
Develop RFP's to source materials, spare parts, consumables, etc.
Handle vendor contract negotiations. Negotiate supplier terms & conditions such that key business requirements (cost, price, specification, quality, logistic, legal, reliability) are fulfilled
Build relationships with local, and regional partners to better understand their challenges, concerns, and needs
Continuously look to drive internal improvements to sourcing processes and reporting
Lead the sourcing team and therefore, responsible for hiring, setting and monitoring annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures that the proper tools are in place to support the team and the processes
Gather and analyze spending data, as well as local, regional, and global market data to ensure competitive pricing through all phases of contract negotiations
Consistently provide feedback to upper management regarding status of projects, activities and/or initiatives
Accountable for the day to day activity related to new vendors within the Flex System
Support all integration initiatives to ensure acquisitions are engaged and adopt national agreements
Accountable for Global Initiatives driven by HO as assigned by his/ her direct supervisor
Capabilities & Competencies for Success:
Proven track record of applying Procurement principles, theories, and concepts to achieve optimal results
Working knowledge of contractual terms and conditions
Ability to plan and organize project and sourcing schedules and meet all deadlines
Ability to communicate well in both verbal and written form, with emphasis on negotiation and supplier relationship skills
Strong background in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to multitask is essential

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or better in Supply Chain, Finance, or other Business Discipline, with proven track record of academic success
7+ years of business experience in purchasing process
