Role Summary/Purpose

The Materials Process Leader will have responsibility for driving consistent, world-class material practices within the F&PT Supply Chain.

Essential Responsibilities

In the role of the Materials Process Leader, you will:
  • Drive inventory management - driving turns growth, meeting quarterly Op Plans, SMI reduction, etc. via utilization of advanced planning and scheduling methodologies
  • Fulfillment - driving on-time delivery to 90% and above across assigned regions and factories; work with business leadership to identify problem areas and develop a plan to drive improvement
  • Develop an overall materials plan including assessment, priority setting, and implementation of plan of raw materials through finished goods to optimize inventory and fulfillment
  • Cycle - working with Lead leadership and other key stakeholders to identify and improve critical product line cycles that constrain business growth and negatively impact competitiveness
  • Train broader F&PT GSC team in materials best practices - establish formal and informal mentorships to build a pipeline of materials expertise for DTS and O&G GSCM at large
  • Provide leadership and expertise on ERP projects - drive consistent processes that balance system utilization and efficiency across functions; be an advocate for supply chain requirements as well as support SAP roll-out as applicable
  • Support development of global analytic and tracking tools to assist in managing assigned plants within the system; utilize predictive tolls and identify potential issues
  • Implement selected global cross-site projects to optimize inventory across the manufacturing sites

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory manager, shop operations, facilitation, and production control in a manufacturing environment, production planning, inventory management principles and practices, or materials management disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of hands on experience with ERP systems

Desired Characteristics
  • Experience in SAP is preferred

  • Strong business and analytical ability
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing process
  • Proven project manager skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
