Role Summary:

The Materials Process Leader will have responsibility for driving consistent, world-class material practices and projects across the F&PT Aftermarket Sites.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Materials Process Leader, you will:
  • Inventory Management ... driving turns growth, meeting Quarterly Op Plans, stock planning, SMI reduction, etc via utilization of advanced planning and scheduling methodologies
  • Fulfillment ... Driving On Time to Customer Want to 90% and above across all regions and factories. Work with business leadership to identify problem areas and develop a plan to drive improvement
  • Develop an overall materials plan for raw materials through finished goods to optimize inventory and fulfillment
  • Execute select inventory and fulfillment projects within and across the aftermarket sites
  • Train broader AMC GSC team in materials best practices ... establish formal and informal mentorships with site resources. Be a key resource to support the execution by the site materials teams
  • Provide leadership and expertise on ERP usage and ERP projects ... drive consistent processes that balance system utilization and efficiency across functions
  • S&OP - be key member of aftermarket S&OP process to include data analytics, forecasting, and planning

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Inventory Management, Shop operations, and/or Planning & Production Control in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 6 months of hands on experience with ERP systems

Desired Characteristics:
  • Minimum 3 years of hands on experience with ERP systems in SAP preferred
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Oracle ERP system
  • APICS Certification
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change
  • Strong business and analytical ability
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing process
  • Proven project management skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with production control systems and routines
  • Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
  • Ability to effectively operate in any organizational structure and with all levels of the organizations
