Crane Operator for the purpose of setting, erecting, tearing down and moving pumping units. Under General Supervision, Operate Traveling or Stationary Crane to Lift, move and position loads. Assist in the assembly, installation and repair of beam pumping units as assigned.


Operates crane as required and has a CDL to drive a truck

Able work drive, operator or work in the field as needed and assigned

Under supervision, assists in the assembly, installation, maintenance and repair of Beam Pumping Units as assigned

Learns to identify the components of Beam Pumping Units

Participates in JSA processes

Participates in safely executing relevant SOPs



2+ years crane operator experience

Able to work driving a truck, working a crane and working in the field as needed

Able to demonstrate field/shop competency

Mechanical ability necessary to perform tasks

Valid driver's license (where applicable)

Good oral and written communication skills

Self-motivated, self-starter

Must be able to follow instructions

Able to work closely with fellow employees

Relevant oilfield product knowledge

Mechanical ability necessary to perform job responsibilities

Crane Operator's License NCCCO meeting regional requirement


The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.


3+ years related field experience operating a crane
