My client is a high growth organization that is revolutionizing wastewater treatment solutions for a variety of industries including: Oil & Gas, Mining, Landfills, and Industrial Facilities. They are currently hiring for a Senior Operations Manager.

 

In this crucial role, you will be requiring for managing all aspects of field operations for all teams throughout the US. This is a very strategic role encompassing both a technical "hands on" background and an operational management background. This candidate will need to be local to the Houston area, there potentially could be relocation for the right candidate. Listed below are some of the duties you will encounter for this role.

 

Duties:

  • Attend on site meetings for surveying and strategizing the service for the client
  • Preparing operational plans that can be utilize by both field crews and upper management
  • Developing and maintaining budgets for field operations
  • Preparing strategic outlook that align with budgets and forecast
  • Assisting with deployment, operations, and maintenance of all equipment
  • Manage purchasing of equipment, supplies, fuel, lodging, and any other requirements for operations
  • Responsible for managing field onsite supervisors and crews
  • Able to face of the organization for clients when sales team and upper management are not there
  • Maintaining documents, receipts, logs, and various other information
  • Creating reports for both internal employees, customer, clients, etc.
  • Various other duties

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Chemistry or in a related field
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Must have wastewater treatment experience
  • Prior supervisory/management experience for large scale operations across multiple states
  • Able to travel up to 80% and be in remote locations
  • Exposure to outdoor elements (heat, cold, rain/snow, etc.)
