The BAKER HUGHES Global Strategic Sourcing Director will lead deployment and execution of the sourcing vision, strategy and deliverables for the global business.

Essential Responsibilities

In the role of BAKER HUGHES Global Strategic Sourcing Director, you will:
  • Define commodity sourcing strategy & management - Lead Global Commodity Team,
  • Enterprise contract life cycle management & negotiations
  • Operational execution and cross-product company influence
    • PC and Sourcing Op rhythms - Strategic levers to offset inflation pressure; Preferred Supplier rationalization; Minimize Cost/Cash leakage
    • Ops, Engineering, Commercial collaboration; Product Cost, Best Cost Country Sourcing, Master Data Management
    • Commodity ownership - Deflation, BCC penetration, preferred supplier utilization for COE managed commodities
  • Lead the Mexico Regional team and development of strategic suppliers as a part of the overall sourcing strategy.
  • Drive cross PC Sourcing operational excellence - Leakage analytics, Strategic KPI's, supplier optimization
  • Cash - Standardize Pay terms & TPS participation
  • Quality - support cross qualification process and opportunities

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business or Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 15 years of Sourcing / Supply Chain / Manufacturing experience
