Position Description:

Private Equity backed oilfield service startup is looking for a motivated and ambitious individual with relevant experience in financial management and accounting to serve as a Corporate VP of Finance, reporting directly to the CEO.

Position Requirements:


· 3-5 Years in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or as a CFO/VP of Finance in Oilfield or Oilfield Service-Related Industry (required)

· Experience with one or more accounting management software (SAP, SAGE, NetSuite, etc.)

Duties and Responsibilities:

As VP of Finance you will be required to perform the following duties:

· Financial Reporting

o Develop and manage monthly financial reporting package

o Develop and manage quarterly board reporting package and regular communication to the board

o Develop and manage daily and weekly dashboards

· Financial Planning and Analysis

o Oversee short and long-term financial goals, objectives, policies, and operational procedures

o Create budgets and forecasting models to assess company performance

o Provide financial and operational metrics and analytics to executive management as needed

· Accounting

o Lead accounting organization including monthly and quarterly closes

o Hire and manage accounting staff

o Help develop and continually review accounting policies and procedures to ensure that the company is compliant with GAAP

o Lead Company's annual audit and tax preparation process

· Other

o Treasury management

o Lead banking, PEO, insurance, and external accounting relationships

o Oversee vendor management and accounts payable process

o Monitor AR and periodically conduct credit analysis of clients
