JOB DESCRIPTION

Coordinate with supervisor on the daily operations of Stratum Reservoir Express lab. This includes planning for forthcoming projects, coordination of equipment and projects to perform requested services in an appropriate and timely manner.

·Know and understand Stratum Reservoirs' Enterprise Excellence Program and the Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

·Coordinate with supervisor the daily operations of the lab.

·Maintain equipment in good working order.

·Assist in some repair and trouble shooting.

·Inventory samples, prep samples and set up analysis.

·Coordinate with data analyst on projects and priority lists.

·Assist with lab inventory and procurement (lab supplies, consumables, gasses, chemicals, ect.) .

·Assist with operating test equipment (all sample prep equipment, SRA, XRD, XRF, CST, etc.).

·Successfully preform all analysis requested and report all data properly.

·Maintain the appearance of lab, equipment, office and area around the lab.

·Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Stratum Reservoir.

·Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

·Troubleshoot and problem solving.

·Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

 

  • Ability to operate material handling equipment.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Ability to follow oral instructions.
  • Ability to read a measuring tape, multimeter, and calipers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office, especially excel, and other industry standard software
  • Ability to work closely with fellow employees.
  • Knowledge of testing equipment used and tests to be performed.


Preferred:

  • B.S. in a scientific or engineering discipline - Chemistry, etc.
