Role Summary:

This role will collaborate with counterparts in Supply Chain, Finance and HR to support production processes, system integrations and enhancement projects in the Travel and Expense domain. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Concur system maintenance, implementations and/or escalations. Production support of T&E systems integrations with ERPs, HR system, Data & Analytic platform. This role will be a part of the DT Shared Services organization.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Production support: Assist with troubleshooting issues related to Travel & Expense systems by investigating problems, contacting vendors, engaging internal DT teams and developing suggestions for resolution.
  • Systems integrations to be supported: Concur Expense and Travel Management, SAP ERPs, Oracle ERPs, HR systems, Data & Analytics platform
  • System Maintenance / Upgrades: Assist in review, testing and implementation of system upgrades and enhancements
  • Process Improvements: Collaborate with colleagues to identify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements to meet organizational changing needs
  • Interpret reporting needs and guide end users in the creation of highly analytical and user-friendly solutions using appropriate tools
  • Projects: Serve as a team member on a variety of global projects designing solution, writing specifications, orchestrating integration development, user acceptance testing, deployment and go live support

In the role of Staff Technical Product Manager, you will:
  • Partner with technology/vendor providers to deliver solutions in the travel & expense domain
  • Liaise with ERP team members and IT teams to architect complete end to end solutions that optimize operational performance of systems
  • Review, clarify, and prioritize customer requirements. Design, build, test and deploy new functionality to meet business requirements
  • Create and maintain documentation such as technical designs, test plans and implementation plans
  • Work with the Business Analytics group to create and refine reports
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend changes to current system configuration or functional procedures to optimize user experience and drive process improvements
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support as required and coordinate implementation of small to medium level enhancements
  • Participate in architecture and code reviews w/ security and architecture organizations
  • Communicate effectively and timely across a variety of stakeholder groups, including both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Participate in roadmap discussions and vendor assessments

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with financial systems and technology

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Travel 10% of the time, as required
  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in Houston, TX

Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience with ERP integrations to third party solutions, ERP financial modules and Concur solution is highly desirable
  • Ability to work and communicate with cross-functional teams to drive execution plans w/ shared outcomes
  • Project management and analytical skills to support multiple programs and projects

Business Acumen:
  • Exposure to travel and living platforms (CWT, concur, payment platforms, safety tracking platforms); and enterprise resource planning (ERP) packages (preferably Oracle or SAP); accounts receivables platforms. Data analytics and visualization tools experience a plus
  • These responsibilities require understanding of ERP Financial Ledgers (AR, AP, GL) as well as secondary administrative systems (e.g. Human Resources, Intercompany Netting, Treasury and Data & Analytics tools).
  • Strong problem solving, and analytical skills demonstrated the ability to assimilate new information and understand complex topics

Leadership:
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must be able to work independently and be dedicated to drive system improvements without day-to-day supervision

Personal Attributes:
  • Strong problem solving, and analytical skills, demonstrated the ability to assimilate new information and understand complex topics
  • Background/experience as a consultant, functional expert or similar role is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in gathering business requirements and clearly translating into specifications for IT solution design (concept to production)
  • Experienced in problem/incident management and full lifecycle system support
