My Client in Aberdeen is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer on a contract basis. Rates negotiable, 12 month contract
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Duration: Up to 12 months
My Client is recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) for a 12 month contract.
" Budget holder for nominated maintenance responsibilities.
" Assist with management of facility maintenance operations towards achieving the targets of zero maintenance backlog.
" Maintain a close working relationship with the offshore maintenance team in the implementation of all duties.
" Ensure communication of day-to-day technical status on issues with onshore and offshore team.
" Monitoring of the maintenance activities on the asset to ensure correct level of support to the Senior Maintenance Engineer.
" Assist with the maintenance alerts and review of Incident/loss reports (5-whys).
" Liaise with the Senior Maintenance Engineer to ensure that necessary inputs are provided to protect the maintenance operation.
" Input to the weekly, 28 & 90 day planning process to ensure efficient deployment of maintenance resources as required.
" Develop and monitor the budget for the nominated maintenance vendor responsibilities.
" Review reports from technical and maintenance service providers and initiate appropriate actions as required.
" Develop existing CMMS through regular review to establish an environment of continuous improvement.
" Liaise with 3rd Party Service providers and Equipment Vendor as required.
" Perform operational spare parts review of assigned SECE equipment as per Maintenance Manager and client request.
" Demonstrate leadership, commitment and foster a culture where health, safety and the environment are not compromised.
" Degree qualified.
" Significant experience within the offshore/petrochemical industry.
" Excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with practical work knowledg
