Role Summary/Purpose

Artificial Lift Black Belt Engineer will be exposed to all aspects of ALS/RLS engineering and be responsible for defining and developing globally standardized engineering quality/ delivery metrics for driving Lean Six Sigma systemic continuous improvements for NPI, Systems Engineering, Sustaining and Fulfillment engineering processes The Artificial. These initiatives are designed to have direct impact on the business needs: On time Delivery, Cost of Quality, Root Cause Analysis, engineering efficiency and return on investment for NPIs. This is a high impact role in a cross-functional global environment with direct visibility to engineering leadership.


Essential Responsibilities
  • Define, develop and establish Engineering quality, delivery & compliance maturity metrics for the organization
  • Define and align functional team charter to ensure metrics rollout, sustainability & report out and effectiveness
  • Responsible for identifying and leading key Engineering Quality Initiatives & periodically report out progress on key Initiatives and Big Y's to senior business leadership
  • Drive Lean Kaizen culture and initiatives across engineering and tie out savings with DMP and Finance teams
  • Utilize DMAIC, DFSS, RCA, CAP, WorkOut, LEAN, Systems Engineering and other tools and methodologies to identify process gaps and drive change
  • Mentor Engineering GB's in Six Sigma methodology and drive GB projects to completion
  • Green Belt & Black Belt certification through prescribed training, testing, mentoring, and project execution

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical disciplines from an accredited college or university
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, preferably Black Belt
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in an engineering, quality, reliability or manufacturing organizations
  • Strong understanding of engineering and reliability processes. Familiarity with supply chain management
  • Ability to drive highly visible initiatives within Engineering
  • Must be an excellent networker with strong team building skills
