JOB SUMMARY

 

Nabors Industries owns and operates the world's largest land-based drilling rig fleet and is a leading provider of offshore platform workover and drilling rigs in the U.S. and multiple international markets. Nabors also provides innovative drilling technology, directional drilling operations and drilling instrumentation and software. Through its various subsidiaries, Nabors manufactures and sells top drives, catwalks, wrenches, drawworks and other drilling related equipment which are installed on both onshore and offshore drilling rigs.

 

 

The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting for Corporate, Engineering/Technical, and IT roles. The Senior Recruiter will work as part of the Talent Acquisition team in an environment that is fast-paced and proactive. This individual will be responsible for utilizing effective storyboarding techniques that demonstrate a strong understanding of the business, technology, and people to position Nabors as an "employer of choice."


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

  • Full life cycle recruiting using Taleo; including preparing job descriptions with hiring managers, posting requisitions, screening and tracking candidates, interviewing, and working with HR to prepare offers
  • Responsible for successful, productive, and efficient relationship management with hiring managers.
  • Support hiring managers in identifying interview evaluation criteria and competencies; establish a consistent and valid candidate assessment process.

  • Prepare and support hiring managers during the interview process to ensure interviews are conducted effectively and professionally.

  • Design, implement, and execute effective talent acquisition strategies for each position.

  • Create and prepare regular reports to demonstrate recruiting numbers, success rate, and various associated metrics.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of recruiting tools and provide recommendations for enhancements.

  • Benchmark recruiting practices against market information to determine competitiveness and recommend improvements and changes to align with best practice and company objectives.

  • Prepare presentations as needed to convey recruiting information to business leaders.

  • Daily reporting to track hires, turnover, and required documentation of new hires.

  • Participate in recruiting events to attract and source candidates as needed.

  • Participate in ad hoc HR and Talent Acquisition projects, programs, and events as needed.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

 

  • High School Diploma

  • 10+ years' full cycle recruiting experience with some experience in a corporate talent acquisition setting.

  • Applicant tracking systems experience required.

  • Proven ability to generate candidate pipelines utilizing innovative techniques that include strategic sourcing, internet mining, social media, etc.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to convey business needs and results.

  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office products.

  • Must be attentive to detail and able to maintain manual tracking and reporting of data.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree with HR or business/technical concentration a plus.
  • Previous experience using Taleo is strongly preferred.
