Kintec Recruitment is currently seeking CAD / CAE Application Engineer for a staff position in the Netherlands.

Main Responsibilities:

" All necessary activities related to CAD/CAE support to CAD users across multiplie engineering disciplines.
" Pro-actively advise users on any CAD/CAE issue or query during engineering execution of a project in order to achieve a smooth functioning of the systems.
" Investigate and promote improvements to the CAD/CAE system
" Maintain liaison with CAD/CAE applications department and Software suppliers concerning updates, improvements and developments to the CAD/CAE system.
" Advise / support / assist other CAD/CAE Application Engineers with the performance of their assignments.
" Advise DM in maintaining CAD/CAE Applications Work Instructions, Technical Guidelines and other standards documents.

Requirements:

" Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical or Information Engineering
" Minimum 5-10 years in similar function.
" Knowledge of CAD/CAE systems generally applied in the petrochemical engineering business, such as PDS Piping Equipment and Support modeling, Frameworks, In-tools, Microstation etc.
" Knowledge of CAD work processes for civil, plant steel, piping and systems engineering (P&ID's).
" Knowledge of engineering execution practices applied in the petrochemical engineering business.

Additional Information:

The role will be offered on an initial 12 month local staff contract with option to extend to permanent contract based on performance.

Expected salary package circa ‚¬50,000 - ‚¬55,000 per annum gross.
