About the Role

The Subsea & Pipelines team is responsible for providing disciplined, engineering support in the discipline of Rigid Pipelines, across production and project works. As a Senior Pipeline Engineer, you will act as the technical integrity custodian, for a vast portfolio of assets, with the widest spread of life found anywhere in Australia. Ultimately your work in maintaining the integrity and availability of our pipelines with contribute greatly to enhancing the efficiency of Woodside's subsea operations.


Duties & Responsibilities

You day to day work will be centred around providing rigid pipeline expertise support to various functions and business areas, on an as-needed basis. Core routines will include such tasks as owning Inspection Monitoring Maintenance & Repair plans and ensuring their execution, management of technical changes, deviation and anomaly assessments, supporting technical authorities in managing regulator interfaces and generally developing junior pipeline engineers. Ensuring the assets' compliance to regulatory requirements, Woodside management systems and Engineering standards will be a key area for focus in this position.


Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will be a degree qualified engineer, with significant discipline experience, at either a pipeline contractor or comparable organisation. A demonstratable background in supporting oil & gas operations and expert-level proficiency with detailed design & analysis will be critical to your success.
