III Job Scope:

  • Ensure Projects have the appropriate resources to deliver the required benefits and outcomes on time, in scope and to the satisfaction of key stakeholders
  • Ensuring Project management delivery is consistent with best practice
  • Ensure that communication to stakeholders (including senior management) is aligned at program level

 

IV Main Accountabilities:

 

  • Prepare accurate and timely governance reporting identifying underlying risks and issues with appropriate recommended improvements
  • Aligning governance schedule at program level to ensure resource availability
  • Effectively communicating current management activities and policies
  • Ensure that communication to stakeholders (including senior management) is aligned at program level
  • Preparation of consolidated program data for trending and analysis
  • Preparation of monthly management presentation (Project Day)
  • Implementing Corrective Action, if required, as decided by the management through the process of review
  • Support Head of Department with resolving any issues arising
  • Ad Hoc presentations for Head of Department as required

 

  1. Planning and forecasting duties:

 

  • Consolidation and analysis of the data collected from program status information, comparing results with baseline and communicating status, including recommendations, to the management for review

 

  1. Industry knowledge:
  • Good knowledge of technical project execution
  • Knowledge and use of project control industry best practices and KPIs
  • Commercial knowledge about commercial terms of the contracts

 

  1. Organization:
  • Gather and archive project experience to improve project management methods in the future

 

  1. Coordination:
  • Manages and coordinates the weekly and monthly reporting
  • Coordinates interfaces between various functions within Project Management organization
  • Reporting:
  • Ad-hoc project reports and presentations to stakeholders
  • Report on bottlenecks and possible problems in the project
  • Preparation of management reports and presentation for top management showing the status of the project in an understandable form

 

  1. People development: -
  1. HSE duties:
  • Complying with and carrying out the activities as per the provisions of IMS documents applicable to the job (e.g. policy, directives, standards of the Refining Division, manuals, decisions, plans/ programs, procedures, guides, regulations, instructions, applicable external documents);
  • Meeting the legal and other requirements applicable for the field of environment protection, labor health and safety, protection against fire (e.g. authorizations, environment programs, emergency plans for environment, prevention and protection plans, measures as a result of the controls carried out by authorities or by authorized persons);
  • Using and handling in a correct manner the equipment for fire protection and of labor safety and individual protection equipment;
  • Promptly informing the head on any situation considered by them a hazard for environment, health and safety or on any labor, environment of technical accident occurred at the working place;
  • Informing the hierarchical head on accidents suffered by a person during the working time, on the normal route towards/ from the job and accidents by a vehicle belonging to the company;
  • Not carrying out technological modifications, changes without applying the regulations in force regarding the change management;

 

  1. To the above mentioned responsibilities it is possible that some others (related to the job) will be added by your Line Manager, if business will require. In case the changes in the job content are significant, a new Job Description will be prepared by your Line Manager.

 

V Delegation:

The job holder can delegate their duties only with approval of Department Manager Project Services

VI Job requirements:

  • University degree (technical or economical)
  • Experience and knowledge in project management - 10 years
  • Communication and co-operational skills
  • Cooperation and interactive skills
  • Reporting skills
  • Fluent English proficiency
  • Strong communication skills
  • MS Office
  • SAP
  • Knowledge of corresponding laws and regulations, international and company codes and standards, respective company guidelines

 

VII Success criteria:

 

  • Achievement of the objectives defined by the line manager
