Role Summary:

BHGE Artificial Lift currently have an opportunity for a Materials & Planning Manager to join them to lead and govern the demand and strategic planning of their inventory and services across Europe. The Manager will champion the Sales & Operations Planning process for the Region in coordination with the BHGE Management Team.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage forecasting/demand planning process across the region
  • Manage Sales & Operations Planning forecast for the region (collect, align and validate the monthly forecast)
  • Manage inventory planning process for the region
  • Monitor and review all inventory and asset ordering/manage purchase controls
  • Manage open order book to deliver operational and revenue requirements
  • Coordinate achievement of inventory targets and develop plan to reduce Engineering & Operations exposure
  • Manage inventory projections (in/out)
  • Manage asset planning process for the region
  • Develop and coordinate initiatives to optimize rental assets and increase asset utilization
  • Manage creation of materials in SAP - materials master, equipment master, asset register
  • Ensure timely execution of asset transfers
  • Review standard cost, manufacturing costs, asset register
  • Ensure correct use of materials transactions
  • Run annual asset verification in line with company policy and procedure
  • Run API or Cycle count for inventory in line with company policy and procedure
  • Perform Disposals in line with company policy
  • Ensure Customer Owned is held and verified in line with company policy
  • Ensure Consigned Inventory is managed and reported on as per company policy
  • Direct and drive optimisation projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Present and have ownership of data at Regional meetings


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Degree Qualified in relevant Supply Chain, Financial or Business related subject preferred or equivalent industry experience in a similar role
  • Industry recognized affiliation or equivalent, (e.g CIPS, ASCM or APICS) is preferred
  • Significant Inventory and Asset Management knowledge is essential
  • Experience of directing a team in Inventory Control and Planning within a similar role is essential
  • Significant demonstrable experience of Forecasting and Sales & Operations Demand Planning is essential
  • Order Management across multi locations is essentials
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management planning tools and systems is essential
  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft office is essential
