Role Summary: #ZR

The Account Manager will develop practical and innovative ways to identify and meet our business objectives while satisfying the customers' requirements. The Account Manager will possess intimate knowledge of our products and their use in the field. This position will be required to strategize with the customer and communicate the project scope to the branch operations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the effective and profitable conduct of the sales and service function of an assigned territory
  • Responsible for maintaining existing accounts & growth of new accounts
  • Work with current customers and prospects to meet desired project needs
  • Identify and execute new areas of growth potential
  • Interface with our internal engineering organization to drive high value solutions across multiple product lines
  • Serve as a liaison between our customer's operations and BHGE's value added products and services
  • Build customer relationships and communication at all levels
  • Work with existing functional and operational teams to achieve growth objectives
  • Regularly participate in local industry events with our customers

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Sales including minimum 2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry

Desired Characteristics:
  • Oil & Gas industry experience
  • Frac and wellhead experience
  • Ability to structure, price, negotiate and close deals
  • Aptitude to succeed in a technical and relationship driven business
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills
