JOB DESCRIPTION

Verifies and enters information into the MRP system (if needed) and distribute material by performing goods receipts, goods issues and /or transfers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare finished goods for shipment: wrapping, crating, etc.

Verify quantities, purchase order numbers, line numbers and other pertinent information on packing slips and receive in the system. Ensure destination addresses match.

Audit the shipments.

Photograph all international shipments, including the lids. Verify the country of origin is listed. Place 2 bands on all international shipment crates.

Build crates or cardboard containers as necessary.

Process shipments using the FedEX/UPS machine.

Pack components, assemblies and products for shipping.

Verify the loads are on the correct trucks.

Mark crates with net and gross weights, dimensions, destination and tech ID's on each crate.

Route received material to QC or to warehouse as needed. Receive material from the warehouse.

Receive incoming shipments from suppliers.

Open crates and other containers using appropriate tools.

Use heat treated crates if necessary.

Weigh empty crates if necessary.

Ensure all part numbers and serial numbers are checked in the packaged material.

Place 2 bands on all crates (international shipments)

Commercial invoices attached to paperwork if necessary.

Operate forklift to weigh product and transfer product to staging areas.

Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Work Assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

3 +years of general experience in shipping/receiving or related field.

Good verbal communication skills.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.

Ability to follow oral instructions.

Ability to make process improvement suggestions and/or participate on process improvement teams.

Participate and adapt successfully in a team oriented environment.

Committed to continual learning and punctuality.

Basic knowledge of computer operation.

Basic operational knowledge of forklift and material handling.

Preferred:

Explicit knowledge of Weatherford products and processes.

Knowledge of ISO9001 standard.

Experience with manufacturing and service environment.

SAP experience
