Role Summary/Purpose

This role is for a Warehouse Mktg II this position will hold a key role in our business, helping us to meet on time delivery and quarterly shipping deadlines while maintaining customer satisfaction through quality packaging and shipping of our products.

Essential Responsibilities

In the role of Warehouse Mktg II, you will:
  • Coordinate shipping activities with outside suppliers
  • Prepare documentation and submit online routing, plan for outbound shipments
  • Lead the effort to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness of our shipping procedures
  • Interface daily with internal customers to meet business objectives and external customer requirements
  • Provide shipment quotations
  • Plan and package product for shipment and coordinate crating activities through a third-party supplier
  • Maintain packaging material inventory
  • Provide support and backup for receiving and stockroom departments
  • Document shipments in our business management system (SAP)
  • Accept personal responsibility for compliance with Health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards and procedures
  • Responsible for export compliance (ECCN, HTS, CoO, etc.) and maintain master shipping files
  • Responsible for dangerous goods compliance and coordination with HSE on all issues
  • Help resolve customs issues
  • Help coordinate and mange triangular shipments (drop shipments or pickups from other sites)
  • Complete domestic and international shipping activities related to certificates of origin, NAFTA, letters of credit, TRS (technical regulations and standards) customs and export regulations, and packing lists

Qualifications/Requirements
  • High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in shipping and receiving or imports and exports

Eligibility Requirements
  • Lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs
  • Use hand and power tools for packaging and moving product
  • Work overtime, as required

Desired Characteristics
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Basic math skills
  • Logistics experience with Import/Export
  • Experience with SAP and or ERP systems
  • Familiarity with standard logistics concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Flexible and proven ability to adapt in a changing environment ability to multi task and work on several projects simultaneously without compromising quality
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Dependable and Safety minded at all times, self-motivated and easily directed
  • Driven to build effective working relationships with coworkers, customers, suppliers, and management of all levels
  • Driven to process improvements and effectiveness of logistics procedure and work instructions
