Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a Production Supervisor for 2nd Shift to support Completions and Wellbore Intervention at our Navigation facility in Houston, TX. This role will support the manufacturing machine shop by maintaining Production goals and objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:

 

  • Directly supervises production employees involved in machine, process that help achieve / exceed company's goals:


a) Safety

b) Quality

c) Productivity, or similar production operations.

 

 

  • Accomplishes overall manufacturing goals and is proactive in process improvement.
  • Evaluates and gives performance feedback to individuals.
  • Facilitates conflict resolution.
  • Enforces work rules.
  • Supervises 1-30 employees.
  • Handles special projects, as assigned.

 


Qualifications/Requirements:

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of manufacturing experience OR High School Diploma or GED with 8+ years of manufacturing experience
  • 4+ years of lead/supervisory experience
  • SAP experience
  • Intermediate MS Excel
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Knowledge of principles, concepts, theories and practices within specialized field.
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift from 2:30-10:30 PM and overtime as projects require.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

 


Desired Characteristics:

 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and supervision
  • Previous Machine Shop experience
  • Previous supervisory experience of a team that reported directly to you
  • Business Management experience
