Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Electrical Assembler, you will:
  • Assembly of electrical components into controls of moderate complexity by following controlled documentation, Standards and specifications.
  • Accepts independent responsibility for compliance to Environment, Health and Safety
  • Ability to read, understands, and follows detailed drawings, schematics, assembly drawings, customer specifications and electrical assembly standards and procedures.
  • Assembly of electrical devices in cabinets by hand using hand tools, wire stripers, terminal crimpers, wire cutters.
  • Install wires, cables into the cabinets for device to device of moderate complexity.
  • Employee must be able to flow back and forth between projects while maintaining departmental quality standards.
  • Quality control inspection of work and products during assembly and at completion.
  • Provide support and backup of other supply chain personnel, be involved in establishing and achieving team goals while respecting the feelings, needs and varying viewpoints of others.
  • Ability to do electrical assembly and occasionally mechanical assembly.
  • Employee will be required to document and communicate by using a computer.
  • Interface daily with internal customers to meet business objectives and external customer requirements
  • Develop and improve assembly processes, written procedures and checklists
  • Required to follow all department policies and procedures

  • High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
  • Minimum 6 months of experience using & reading technical drawings and schematics

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Good manual dexterity; steady hands to work with hand tools, parts and wrenches
  • Available to work overtime as needed to meet customer schedules 10-hour days, 5 hours on Saturday, maybe Sunday
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and use hand and power tools for assembly
  • Physical stamina to stand for 8 to 10 hours a day. Climb in and out of cabinets, Repetitive motion, Standing, sitting and lifting for extended hours

  • Basic electricity assembly experience
