Vi består i dag av brønnplanleggere/ boreingeniører som jobber enten ute hos kunden eller på våre kontorer i Tananger. Stillingen har store muligheter til å ekspandere ditt kunnskapsnivå innen boring, til å jobbe tett opptil boreoperasjoner i form av planlegging, real-time operasjon, evaluering og analyse av gjennomførte operasjoner. Den rette kandidaten vil få opplæring i form av interne kurs og «hand to hand» trening. Arbeidsoppgaver:
  • Utarbeiding av brønnbaner i nært samarbeid med kunde og Halliburton koordinatorer
  • Antikollisjons analyse mot eksiterende brønner
  • Torque/Drag og hydraulikk simuleringer av boreoperasjoner
  • BHA analyser
  • Evaluering av real-time data og oppdatering av simuleringer
  • Oppdatering av posisjons surveyer under boreoperasjoner
  • Bidra til støtte til DD-koordinator når det er nødvendig
  • Vakttjeneste må påregnes
  • Sporadiske turer til andre lokasjoner innen skandinavia og offshore kan forekomme, men vil ha base i Stavanger

Kvalifikasjoner:
Master, eller bachelor fortrinnsvis innen petroleumsrettede fag.
3-5 års erfaring innenfor brønnplanlegging, boring, surveying, MWD og/eller ADT vil være en fordel, men også nyutdannende vil bli vurdert til stillingen.
Kjennskap til planleggingsverktøy som Compass eller Sysdrill, Wellplan og Insite er en fordel.
Gode analytiske egenskaper.
God kjennskap til office-pakken
Må beherske engelsk, skriftlig og muntlig.
Gode fremføringsegenskaper.

We are looking to strengthen our technical staff, and we are therefore looking for additional Well Design Engineers to add to our department in Sperry Drilling.

Today our department consists of Well Design Engineers who are working either at the customers office or at Halliburton's offices based in Tananger. This position gives fantastic opportunities to grow your knowledge within drilling and to work closely with drilling operations by planning, real-time involvement while operational, evaluation and analysis of accomplished operations. The right candidate will be given internal courses and hands on training. Job description:
  • Designing of well trajectories in close cooperation with customer and Halliburton personnel
  • Anti-Collision analysis against existing wells
  • Torque and drag, hydraulic, and BHA simulations
  • Real-time evaluations and simulation updates
  • Updating of wellbore positioning surveys
  • Support the DD-Coordinator when necessary
  • Trips within Scandinavia and offshore may occur, but base location will be in Stavanger
  • Duty responsibility

Qualifications:
Master or bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering or strongly related fields.
3-5 years' experience within one or more of following areas: well design, drilling, surveying, MWD and/or ADT would be beneficial.
Knowledge about planning tools such as Compass or Sysdrill, knowledge of Wellplan and INSITE is also an advantage.
Good analytical skills.
Familiar with Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and oral skills in English.
Good presentation skills.

By 1946, the company – using its innovative technology – had expanded into Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and the Middle East and began performing services for the Arabian-American Oil Company, the forerunner of Saudi Aramco.

 

In 1951, Halliburton made its first appearance in Europe as Halliburton Italiana SpA., a wholly owned subsidiary in Italy. In the next seven years, Halliburton launched Halliburton Company Germany GmbH, set up operations in Argentina and established a subsidiary in England.

 

In 1984, Halliburton provided all of the well completion equipment for the first multiwell platform offshore China. Two years later, Halliburton became the first American company to perform an oilfield service job on the China mainland

 

The final decade of the 20th century brought more changes and growth to Halliburton. The company opened a branch office in Moscow in 1991.

 

The company realigned its work into Eastern and Western Hemisphere operations in 2006, and in 2007, divided its service offerings into two divisions: Completion and Production, and Drilling and Evaluation.
